Our card-making group meets at the church at 9 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month. Four cards - which you get to keep - are made during each session. The cost is $5 and the proceeds go towards mission support. It is a relaxing and fun time where we learn new skills, meet new people and create new cards.
Additionally, a small number of us make greeting cards (of all kinds) for Care Outreach, an organisation which supports farmers and others in Western Queensland. These cards are included in packs that are gifted to those visited, especially at Christmas and Mother’s Day.
